The 1st team immediately won honours in its second year becoming the Div 3 Champions & Seward Cup Winners in 1972/3. They repeated this in 1973/4 by again winning the Seward Cup. The Reserves then won the Clifford Pryce Cup in 1987/8 and went on to become Div 4 Champions in 1989/90. The 1st team improved their status by becoming Div 2 Champions in 1990/1. Not to be outdone the Reserves, after relegation in 1992, were Div 4 Champions in 1994/5, whilst the 1st team won the League Knock-Out Cup in the same year. The 1st Team then had the best series of results becoming Div 1 Champions in 1995/6 and again in 1996/7. They also became League Knock-Out Cup Winners in 1998/9. Meanwhile, the club decided it was strong enough to begin a third team in 1999, called Wyvern Fox’s, mainly because they played on Bishop Fox’s ground. It was also alleged that it was so named because it trawled players from old lags who were very wily and were able to out-craft opponents by just standing still! The Fox’s won the League Club Special Award in 2001/2. A link was forged with Holway United in 2003/4 season to bring in younger players to replace the ageing profile of the Fox’s side and to give a berthing ground for them to gain experience at the adult level. The Club will be watching these developments to see whether they bring in committed players able to hold their own in the first team. The Club are in the process of gaining Charter Standard status and are working towards achieving this in 2004 Registered Players:
